Nurse Job

Personal 1on1 intensive outpatient care Berlin Kreuzberg part-time

Hello World. I’m Jan, 34, living in Berlin near Treptower Park. I have lived with my partner in an apartment in Alt-Treptow, right on the canal next to Kreuzberg and Neukölln, since April 2019.

Since a swimming accident in 2017, I have been paralysed from the chest down (sub C3), have no hand functions and sit in a wheelchair. I cannot cough up independently and rely on 24/7 help to live an active life.

I love Berlin, electronic dance music, Netflix and Asian cuisine, I love travelling and am fascinated by innovative technologies. I love my job in the IT industry and passionately work full-time for a startup company in Kreuzberg.

For my challenges and hobbies, I am looking for a qualified carer who is open, humorous and adventurous like me.

Your job will be to take over my all-day activities such as personal hygiene, washing and showering, brushing teeth, transferring between bed and wheelchair, dressing, helping with meals, drinks and medication, catheterisation, drainage, wound care and dressing changes.

Please only apply if you have experience in primary and treatment care and feel comfortable doing so. It would be a bonus if you speak English and have a driver’s license =)

The employment takes place with me as an employer and patient in one person; there is no nursing service but a personal budget. My team is very reliable and is looking for you to complement me.
