Tetraplegia, also known as quadriplegia, is paralysis caused by illness or injury that results in the partial or total loss of use of all four limbs and torso; paraplegia is similar but does not affect the arms.
Sub C3 describes my level of the spinal cord injury, it means the last vertebrae which works is C3 and underneath there is the damage. C4 and C5 are broken, so is the belonging spinal cord.

Vor einem Monat bekam ich die Nachricht, dass mein Bruder einen Unfall in Kap Verde hatte. Ein bisschen später besuchten wir in Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), wo er seine erste Operation hatte (Nackenstabilisierung). Er konnte nicht selbständig atmen oder sprechen. Viel Schlaf aufgrund der Medikamente. Wir waren unsicher, ob er transportfähig ist. Ziel Charité.
