Since over one year my brother is in rehabilitation. I am really impressed of his power, mindfulness and humour. During my master thesis he helped me a lot, gave inspiration and improved my spelling in this thesis. In my eyes he is more than strong.
I got an invitation to see the Beatsteaks in Berlin at the famous open air stage Wuhlheide. Finest Punk, Rock & Roll made in my favourite Berlin districts Kreuzberg & Treptow.
Today is my first anniversary since my life-changing, neck breaking accident. It happened to be on the beautiful date of the 17.07.17 at a lonely Paradise Beach on an exotic island during a vacation I planned half a year in advance. Continue reading Second Life and second birthday
Today started with a surprise. I got some visitors from the Berlin Brandenburg broadcast station. It was our second dinner together. Continue reading Monday
I always believed that I was unbreakable. Before the accident, I had actually never broken any of my bones.
Now I’ve broken my neck. Irreversible paralysis. All four limbs affected. It really couldn’t be much worse. Just three more vertebrae to go. No breathing on my own, no head control, neurological damage, stroke, coma, death.
However, I am a survivor and my brain still works. Still, it is a hard time to stay positive. This is why I started listing all of the things that have changed in a positive way after my spinal cord injury. Continue reading How to Stay Positive After Being Paralyzed by a Spinal Cord Injury

The deep forest setting is probably the best environment to offer conservative air, water and light therapies.
This month I was more active than the last five months. My first trip out of the hospital area was a tour with Continue reading Weihnachten and Other Nice Things
